The lovely Emma Marriott | Founder of The Yawn Club

As a branding photographer in Hampshire, I absolutely love working with small businesses. Branding photography is so much more than capturing beautiful photos, and I’ll explain exactly why throughout this post. Having branding photos is crucial in order to visually show who you are, what you do and build trust with your audience. A strong portfolio of branding images will set you apart from your competitors. You will have high quality content to showcase on your website, socials and all marketing material.

It all starts with the planning, which is the most important part to ensure the best results for my clients. I take the time to get to know you and your business, we collaborate on ideas and inspiration and I research the industry you’re in, in order for me to be the visual storyteller for your business.

Including Emma’s Son in the photoshoot instantly creates a personal connection. It builds trust, relatability and shows that Emma is approachable, which is so reassuring for parents.

Having a Mum and her newborn model for us, has been gold for The Yawn Club’s branding photography. I’ve captured Emma during a consultation, with real connection in a calming environment. These authentic images will not only build trust with parents, but also set’s Emma’s business apart from competitors, who are using generic stock photos.

“I was so nervous being behind the camera, especially after having my son. I was made to feel so comfortable from Sophie and actually ended up loving the shoot. She guided me so much and helped me feel so confident. Love the outcome and could not recommend enough.
Thank you Sophie xx”

Q. Tell us a bit about you, and what inspired you to become a baby sleep consultant?

I’m a certified baby sleep consultant and a parent myself, so I understand firsthand how exhausting and overwhelming sleep struggles can be. I was inspired to become a sleep consultant after navigating my own child’s sleep challenges and  health issues and seeing the transformative impact that healthy sleep habits had on our family’s wellbeing. Helping other families find peace, rest, and confidence became a passion I couldn’t ignore.

Q. What one piece of advice would you give to parents regarding baby sleep?

Trust your instincts, but also know that sleep is a skill and like any skill, it can be taught with the right support and consistency. Babies thrive on routine, and even small changes in timing, environment, or responses can make a big difference.

Q. At which point should parents reach out to you for help?

Any time sleep feels unsustainable, exhausting, or confusing that’s the right time. Whether it’s frequent night wakings, short naps, early mornings, or needing support with a sleep transition, you don’t have to wait until things get worse. Often, the earlier we start, the easier the process is.

Q. What does the process of working with you look like?

It starts with a detailed intake where I learn about your baby’s sleep patterns, routines, feeding, temperament, and your family’s goals. Then, I create a personalised sleep plan that’s age-appropriate and aligned with your parenting style. We work together over a set period often with daily check-ins, to adjust the plan as needed and make sure you feel supported every step of the way.

Q. Is there anything else you’d like to share?

Every baby is different, and so is every family. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to sleep. My job isn’t to impose rigid rules, it’s to empower you with knowledge, tools, and confidence so your whole family can sleep better. You’re not failing, you’re just in a stage that needs support.

Q. Where can parents find you?

Parents can find me on Instagram - www.instagram.com/the_yawn_club

Or website www.theyawnclub.co.uk

I offer a free 15 minute consultation at the start and then moving forward we have another 1:1 consultation where we will discuss the plan for you and your baby. You also have constant WhatsApp support during the plan and can contact and ask as many questions throughout.

You can also reach me directly at emma@theyawnclub.co.uk
